Mark + Len Prenup

::: Styling by RabbitHole Creatives ::: Photos by MangoRed ::: Hair by Aries Manal ::: Airbrush Make Up by Toni Rodriguez :::

Len saw my works over the internet and booked me without really meeting me in person. She was very hands on with what kind of look she would want for her prenup and wedding. She informed me that her photographer is Mango Red whom I have worked with before and I knew her prenup and wedding shots would be kick ass. I was very excited for the outcome of her prenup. I asked her who would be styling her prenup and at that time she really didn’t plan on getting a stylist but I told her to check RabbitHole Creatives whom I have worked with previously also. RabbitHole Creatives is simply the best of the best prenup stylists out there no doubt! I was so happy that the couple booked RabbitHole Creatives also!

Our location shoot was in NAIA 3 and it was my first time to do a prenup inside the airport and like a little girl, I was so giddy to start the prenup shoot. I asked Geoff from RabbitHole what kind of look would he like so we discussed the look and here’s what we came up for the first look.

For the second look I did a toned down creative make up for Len to go with her stylist’s second set.

And for the last set I retained her brown lipstick to pop out the whole look. Aries did a romantic half ponytail with side braids for Len.

Subic Wedding: Anne Salazar – Ramos

::: Airbrush Make Up by Toni Rodriguez ::: Hair by Aries Manal :::

Anne is the sister of my college friend / dorm mate Kristel. Anne is already based in Australia and messaged me on facebook that she wants me to do her bridal make up. I first had the chance to do her makeup during her prenup in Subic and she was a joy to work with. She’s naturally kikay and loves being dolled up that working with her is actually like doing your girlfriend’s makeup while chatting about beauty secrets, make ups etc.

For Anne’s wedding she wanted a natural look. We kept the make up simple, clean and fresh. For her ceremony hair Anne wanted it in a finger combed updo.

For Anne’s Reception look we put her hair down with loose curls. Did a slightly darker eyeshadow and a pink lipstick to keep her looking fresh all night.

Boracay Wedding: Ian + Charm

:: Inong – Zafra Wedding ::: Bride: Charm Inong ::: Asya Boracay ::: Wedding Gown by Jor-el Espina ::: Airbrush Make Up by Toni Rodriguez ::: Hair by Aries Manal :::

2011 had been good to me and for the last chapter of last year I was blessed to have bride’s who trusted me to do their make up. I wasn’t able to update much from last year due to the busy schedule of “ber” months so now Im posting some of my ber brides and to start with is my boracay wedding.

I met Charm and Ian during my bridal fair last year with Weddings & Debuts and booked me for their Boracay wedding. Ms Charm was truly one of the easiest brides I’ve worked with. She only have one request and that is to make her still look like herself for her wedding.

Boracay is really one of the loveliest locations to have your wedding. Plus the fact   that Boracay is the couple’s favorite place which made it all more worth it and heartfelt. Charm and Ian’s wedding was Moroccan inspired. Designer Jorel Espina made a wedding gown for the bride that very well complemented Charm’s skin tone. Jorel also made the bride’s accessories and hairpiece ala moroccan.

I used neutral shades for the bride that will go well with her moroccan inspired gown. An eyeshadow shade of bronze and gold with a little shimmer for her wedding beach went well with the look. Here are some of my personal shots from her wedding and a few grabbed from her facebook while still waiting for the official photos.

The wedding was breathtaking. Getting married in the lovely sands of Boracay with your partner and seeing the sun sets while exchanging vows made everyone teary eyed. This so far wrap up all my weddings for 2011 as my favorite Ptr. Clem Guillermo was the one who officiated the wedding. It’s truly unforgettable! What more can one ask for?

Bride: Khay Acosta

::: Airbrush Make Up by Toni Rodriguez ::: Hairstyle by Aries Manal :::

Khay is one bride that sure loves the color RED! For our trial make up on the day of her prenup shoot she wanted me to use red lipstick on her to match her vintage theme and for the wedding she still wanted the same shade of lip color. Khay was only particular with the red lippie rest was my call – well also that she didn’t want her eyebrows touched so I made sure I groomed her eyebrows with my brush and Make Up For Ever’s eyebrow corrector.

Before & After

I had to conceal the bride’s slight dark under eye circle’s and concealing it did so much to freshen up her look. I used a more dramatic lashes for her than my usual bridal lashes to complement her vintage bridal look. As for the lipstick I used the ever famous cult favorite Russian Red from MAC.

Contoured eyes, lighter eyebrows and red lips for the vintage effect!

The bride asked Aries to use her red headband for her headpiece.

For Khay’s reception look she had her hair down and changed her headpiece to a red fascinator.

Bride: Jeng Dizon

::: Airbrush Make Up by Toni Rodriguez ::: Hairstyle by Aries Manal ::: Holiday Inn Clark Pampanga:::

Ms Jeng was an easy bride to work with that despite her flu and slight fever during her wedding day she was very positive and all excited for her prep. She wanted it simple but with a little twist. Basically I contoured and highlighted areas needed, gave her eyebrows more form to frame her face. Conceal her undereyes, open her eyes a little bit more and as for the twist? Pink lips! She was happy about it and we got comments that she actually didn’t look sick at all after the make up application was done. She was just fresh and glowing as she wanted it.

Before & After

Jeng’s Hairstyle

I wasn’t able to document the bride’s second look so I just grabbed a picture on her facebook account during the reception. Jeng wanted red lipstick for her second look since she loves red lipstick on her.

Bride: Faye Mallari – Maturan

::: Airbrush Make Up – Toni Rodriguez ::: Lakeshore Pampanga :::

Ber months had been really good to me that I have been flooded with work which unfortunately made me disregard my blog so Im making up for it and taking my time to update everyone of my bridal works!

Meet my bride Faye Mallari who happens to be the most soft spoken bride I’ve encountered so far that made me feel like Im doing a Maria Clara bride for that day. Faye is my cousin’s sister in law and she saw the make up I did for my cousin’s wedding last year and so booked me for her own wedding. We had our trial make up in my studio weeks before her big day that made it a lot easier to do her bridal look since my hands had already practiced on her face .

Faye is five months pregnant so I was extra careful with what make up to use on her. The bride is acidic so I used a foundation lighter than her natural shade which eventually blended with her real color a few mins after make up application. For ceremony look we basically leaned into the natural blushing bride look. Put her hair in an updo to highlight her face.

Ceremony Look

Reception Look

For the bride’s reception look we added a little bit more drama with her eyes and glossy lips to match with it. Used hair extensions to make her hair longer for her second look and had it only in one side to still highlight her face.

Bride: Jam Junatas – Jao

::: Airbrush Make Up by Toni Rodriguez ::: Hair by Aries Manal :::

Jam is the type of bride that has an exact peg in mind, she wanted it one thing – grecian! I had a great time with Jam and her mother in law who also had the same grecian inspired look for her daughter in law. Jam’s mother in law was actually the one who stumbled upon my blog and had her trial make up way ahead Jam. It was fun working with them as they exactly know what they wanted. They had sample pictures to show me how they wanted the bridal look and it was fun discussing the look with them.

The bride’s gown was grecian inspired, she had a hairpiece that leans into the grecian look also but as for her make up both Jam and her mother in law wanted her make up fresh and natural. Jam’s face was youthful and naturally pretty so I made sure I kept it that way and not have the make up make her look any older than her age.

I used my Urban Decay Naked Palette to achieve the fresh and natural look for the bride.

The bride chose her headpiece and did not want the typical bridal headband for her hair but wanted it in such way that would give more of the grecian feel.

Jam wanted her hair with braids and we used tiny white gold leaves that Jam and her mother in law specifically bought just to complete the Bride’s grecian look.

Jam’s original bouquet had some big hanging flowers on it, they had it removed the last minute and I suggested that we can use some of the bride’s hair accessory that we wouldn’t use and insert it on her bridal bouquet. Call that last minute DIY!
